Recent Studio Activity

The studio has been very busy since Christmas with the Production of the Jazz Trio “In The Pocket”  featuring guitarist Tom Wolf. 

The Pounders are currently in negotiations to reenter the studio for their second release stay tuned for details.

Eric The Red and Dudley Do Right continue tracking their current release after a brief hiatus from touring.

The Letter 3 will be returning to the studio to remix their self titled disc as well as recording new material for their 2nd release.

Shrapnel Petals began production on their EP Aug 27 and will continue production through September 

RENILK Music studios is moving to a brand new facility currently under construction, stay tuned for grand opening details.

The last month in the studio has been very busy with continued work on Eric The Red, Shrapnel petals, Justin Oliver and The Letter 3.

Justin Oliver is a 16 year old songwriter from Tuscaloosa with impeccable talent, your going to be hearing alot of great things from this fine young man.

The Letter 3 began a 15 song album project that encompasses mostly new tracks as well as previously recorded material. I am very excited to be working with this excitingly new fresh talent also from Tuscaloosa.

Hold onto your Grundle Beard folks! LAVALAMP is in talks now about doing another record and video. Stay tuned for updates on this new project.

Long time, Tuscaloosa Blues Harp Extraordinaire, J.K. Terrell, is tracking his new blues project Dec 14, 2011 with John Kliner (Drums) Bruce Hopper (Bass) Jason Spiegel (Gtr) JK Terrell Harp/Vocs and TBD various keyboard players. Be looking for that.

Renilk Music Producer/Engineer John Kliner has completed the mixes for the new 15 song Letter 3 project and is headed for the mastering services of Joey Laycock at Laycock mastering, Tuscaloosa, Al.
